Benefits of the Beginner Driver Education Program:
1. Using the knowledge, skills ,and attitudes you learn in driver education lowers your chances of being involved in costly, injurious ,and sometimes deadly accidents.
2. BDE Graduate certification recognized by the insurance industry.
3. The time period for doing the G1 exit ( re : G2 license) is reduced by FOUR(4) months .So instead of waiting for one year before taking the G1 exit test you can do the test in EIGHT (8) months.
4. Rose Driving School is Unique(the current curriculum is exclusive only for our school and allows more flexibility )
Our Computer instructions (8 lessons) give you these benefits:
1. Flexible hours. You can do computer part at your own pace and convenience during our regular office hours. You don’t have to book an appointment for computer lessons.
2. Work at your own pace. For the computer lesson you can stay 15 minutes or couple of hours. You choose.
3. Convenience. We are open Monday to Saturday.
Once you have completed your eight hours (8) on the computer you can begin your in - car lessons.
Class Lectures(20 hours)
Rose Driving School provides a safe and effective learning environment. Our students are welcomed with bright, lightning, comfortable seating modern facility. Each student must complete total of 20 hours of class instructions (There are six (6) separate sessions which include Power Point Presentation) All classroom sessions must be attended on time to receive credit.
In-car Lessons (10 hours)
Our instructors are Ontario-licensed, and they have been chosen not only for their teaching ability but also for their patience and understanding.
Our cars are fully insured and they are dual-controlled for students’ safety.
All in-car lessons are conducted one-on-one to provide students with a comfortable learning environment free from peer pressure. Re: high level of satisfaction, we encourage our customers to inform us when something is not right so that we can correct that.
The first in-car lesson is booked through the office, but the student may schedule subsequent lesson directly with the in–car instructor. The only requirement is - the student must have a valid driving license.
Pick up/ drop off at mutually agreed on location (within reasonable distance from the school)
2 hours (Computer program)
Full screen, real ife interactive video that put the student on the driver’s seat (realistic displays show three views of action, including the rear-view and side mirrors. And the student will learn haw to use their eyes and brain to spot the trouble before it happens. Realistic displays show three views of the action, including the rear-view and side mirrors. The students will face everything from a child chasing a ball into the street to dangerous two-line passing. The new drivers will learn how to see danger by actually experiencing it on a computer, instead of behind the wheel.
After all the class lectures and driving lessons, the student can take the above program (please note that is not an easy test to pass)
Each student can be certified only when BDE Program is complete
Road Test
Road test may be booked after completion of the course, and the school can assist students with this process. Road test (for the students eligible in eight(8) months) will booked only once the student is certify (after completion of the BDE program).
Rental of the instructor’s car for the road test is available for nominal fee. We reserve the right, to refuse to take students to driving tests, if - in the opinion of the instructor - the student is not ready to pass their test. This is for safety reasons.
There are many benefits using our cars for the road test like -the students feel more confident in the car they learned in; our school vehicle will pass the Drive Test Examiner's circle check. Our in- car instructor know the location of the Drive Test Centers (including all the procedures ). This will help every student to relax during a stressful time!
Second Level G2 –Exit Preparation (Re: G License)
Keeping in line with the successful Graduated Licensing system in Ontario, we able to concentrate on the layered aspect of truly training drivers for a full G license.
Rose driving school offers training for the second level (G2 exit for G license)in Ontario’s graduated licensing system. The initial lesson is intended as an evaluation. Students will see the new standard that’s expected, and adjustments will be made by the student by practicing on their own or with an instructor. During the in car session, the instructor will take the student through a typical test, and clearly showing the students their level of performance in relation to the new standards may opt to take additional instruction to fix the targeted area
